Cast silver coin like object of unknown date. The coin is clearly cast with a wide ridge like rim. In shape and broad style it is somewhat similar o the cast potins of the late Iron Age, but is unusual due to it ebing made in silver. On one face is a worn head, whilst the opposite has a horse or possibly horse and rider. The style is naturalistic. It is therefore possible it may be a much more recent gaming token or sport. A direct parralel has not been found but it has been recordedin case it is of a historic age.

Half a silver coin of the Corieltauvi known as the South Ferriby types. This is a silver unit, a VA 877 and BMC 3218-227, spinks no 397/398. Its noted as being unusual to have the obverse design still visible and in having a ringed pellet over the horse instead of the more usual rosette type of pattern. There are approx 150 of this type recorded, this one is CCI 07.0010 Its impossible to say whether its broken in half as a possible votive offering or whether this is a result of other reasons ie plough damage The information supplied by Philip De Jersey of the CCI (Celtic Coin Index)
