A complete Iron Age coin; a core of a gold plated contemporary copy of an uninscribed gold stater of the North Eastern region / Corieltavi, dating to the period 50 - 20 BC, South Ferriby type, probably South Ferriby legs type. The obverse is blank or obliterated. The flan is dished, so the side with the design (in deep relief) is concave. Compare ABC number 1746 and DENO-210C6C. Diameter 18.8mm, thickness 2.6mm, weight 10.15g.

An incomplete worn copper alloy core for a gold plated copy of a South Ferriby type uninscribed stater of the British uninscribed North Eastern (Corieltauvi) type, dating from about 50 - 20 BC. The flan is damaged with a V shaped crack at the edge of the flan. The coin is 18.9mm diameter, 2.5mm thick and 3.5g. Compare ABC number 1743, and Van Arsdell 811-06 and Van Arsdell 811-05. type.
