Incomplete copper alloy sestertius of Commodus dated to AD 181. Obverse features the laureate bust of Commodus. The bust is severely worn, but it is possible to identify some of the hair curls and the tassle at the back of the laureate. Reverse features the worn figure of a left facing Annona holding ears of corn in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left hand. The coin has an uneven flan suggesting it has been clipped and on both faces the legends have worn away.
