An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy single-earred porringer dating AD164-1720. The vessel is circular in plan with gradually sloping walls. The single ear projects from the rim and it has an open work interlace pattern. The interior base is decorated with two dashed rings of chatter decoration. There are no visible maker's marks. The porringer is slightly crushed.

A Post Medieval ceramic porringer handle dating from the 17th century. The handle is in biscuit ware and of openwork design. It has nine lobes, with an outwardly pointing heart-shaped hole at the centre. The handle would have formed part of a tin-glazed delftware porringer with one flat handle, a similar complete example can be seen in the Museum of London's collection (acc no. A4399). Other similar handles are illustrated in Tyler, Betts & Stephenson (2008:fig 131), which were from the Rotherhithe pothouse.

A Post Medieval ceramic porringer handle dating from the 17th century. The handle is in biscuit ware and of openwork design consisting of a C shape with curly terminals. The vessel is unglazed biscuit ware and probably comes from a dump of kiln waist from the Pickleherring pot house.

An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy (pewter) porringer handle, dating to the 17th century. The handle is in the form of an openwork scrolling design, with S shaped scolls either side of a quatrefoil central panel.

An incomplete ceramic Crockerton ware porringer dating to the 17th or 18th century. The fabric has a powdery feel and is decorated with a slip and glazed in places. Around a third of the porringer survives including the handle.
The porringer is deocrated with a standing female figure with feet facing left. The upper torso and he head of the figure are missing.

A Post Medieval lead alloy (pewter) porringer handle, dating to the 17th century. The handle is in the form of a forward facing cherub head with an opposing heart and scrolling 'S' on the sides. On the heart are the owner's initials 'EC' as well as a makers mark 'WB' with star below. The porringer has a pierced hanging lug projecting from the top of the cherubs head. A similar handle can bee seen in Forsyth and Egan (2005:301) on a porringer found in a 17th century rubbish dump in Finsbury, Museum of London, Acc. no. 8126.

An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy single-earred porringer dating 16th - 17th century. The vessel is circular with gradually sloping walls. The single ear projects from the rim and it has an open work interlace pattern that features two addorsed birds head and necks. The interlaced pattern is decorated with pellets and ring and dot motifs. Hazel Forsyth notes the quality of the casting and also the decoration is one she has not seen before and she suggests this is may be Dutch. There are no visible maker's marks.

A Post Medieval lead alloy porringer handle, dating to the late 16th-early 17th century. The handle is a trefoil shape, flat on the back with bevelled edges. There are lugs in the centre of each foil, along the external edge, as well as at the point where the lower two foils join with the upper foil. There is a triangular protrusion within the upper foil and two within each of the lower foils, each following the line of the handle stem. An incomplete post medieval lead alloy porringer dating to the 16th century. The vessel is circular with gradually sloping walls. The handle is no longer present, with an irregular break remaining on one side of the vessel. The vessel is also slightly distored on the side with the break.
A vessel with a similar profile can be found in Margeson (1993, 581) and comes from a layer dated to AD 1507. The example in Margeson is from a long handled pan and is slightly larger. A Post Medieval handle from a lead alloy (pewter) porringer dating to the 17th century. This is an 'Old English' style ear with the owner's initials CR underlined with a star above cast integrally with the handle. The handle also has a cast pattern of pellets on the upper surface which mirrors the openwork design of curling loops.
Porringers with similar styles of ears are illustrated in (Hornsby; Weinstein & Homer 1989:78 and 94) no. 75 is dated 1670 and no 114 dates to 1690.

Rim sherd of a Post Medieval earthenware porringer, possibly Border Ware or Graffham, 1550-1700 AD. The sherd fabric is an off-white colour. The exterior is unglazed but is decorated with an applied cordon projecting outwards approximately 18.0mm down from the rim. The rim of the vessel is decorated with the same light green glaze that coats the interior of the bowl. The sherd weighs 51 grams.
