A complete post-Medieval copper alloy clock key dating to c. AD 1600-1700. The flat-sectioned bow comprises two loops: the larger, oval, loop is at the bottom, with a bifurcated, drop-shaped extension above, decorated with a wreath on either side. Both sides of the larger loop have been incised to create the impression of a pair of entwined possible serpents whose open mouths meet at the base. The key has an oval bow, which is integral to a solid cylindrical stem.The terminal at the end of the stem has an integral triangular bit with a triangular hole and flanges on the outside. An incomplete Post Medieval watch winder, dating to c. AD 1850-1900. One horizontal arm (the other is missing due to an old break) is decorated with swirling tendrils which emanate from a diamond shaped motif at one end, which would have been the centre of the two arms originally. At the opposite end are the remains of the swivel handle that was fitted into the spherical end of the horizontal arm. The lower part has broken off and is undecorated.

This key comprises of a flat oval head with two circular apetures, connected to a long, square-sectioned shaft that widens towards the broken end. The break is old.

An incomplete cast copper alloy key, probably from a clock. The bow is openwork and incomplete, but would have possibly been in the form of a quatrefoil with cusped sides. The bow joins the shank at a simple collar of two ridges. The bow itself has circular cross section and splits into a forked terminal, 16.5mm in length, with two short parallel arms, each with sub rounded cross section.

The stem has a hollow circular section, and terminates in a double collar where it meets the handle. The handle of the key is undecorated. The bit is a double forked prong parallel to the bow.

A trefoil plate with one lobe open for suspension, now broken, with a lug at the opposite end which passes through the spherical terminal of a cast round bar. The other end of the bar retains a short hollow arm at right angles to it, serving as a winding key, with a short continuation beyond this, now broken. The plate bears a stamped shell motif on both sides. The item has an even mid brown colour. An identical watch winder is shown in Detector Finds 2, by Gordon Bailey, Greenlight Publishing, Witham, 2001, page 26-7, item 4.
