Cast copper alloy modern horn protector, 19th century. The find consists of a circular-sectioned cast copper alloy protector, essentially a protective metal cap used to put on the tip of cattle horns. The object has a pale olive-green patina. It measures 26.1mm long and 27.5mm wide.
