Fragment of gold. It is undiagnostic, and cannot be attributed to a specific period. Almost identical to WAW-97AC75 and very similar to ESS-043423 which have been assigned as unknown. Shares similarities with CAM-9461A7 also assigned as unknown and CORN-2BAA91 assigned to the Bronze Age on the basis of isotope analysis. Other gold fragments have been assigned as Viking hack gold NARC-88B423. This object could be Viking hack or more likely off a Bronze Age artefact but remains undiagnostic. The length is 16mm, width 11mm, weight 3.37g
