Fragment of medieval copper alloy possible chandelier, angular quatrefoil terminal with moulded lines forming veins on one face and engraved lines forming a cross on the other face, rectangular-sectioned break at one point where the terminal has broken-off from its stalk or shank. Extant length 26mm. Width 23mm. 4.5mm thick. Cf. a number of rather thinner and more elegant leaf-shaped terminals on a Netherlandish or German chandelier of c.1480 in Marks and Williamson (2003) no.314. 15th century.

Cf. a number of rather thinner and more elegant leaf-shaped terminals on a Netherlandish or German chandelier of c.1480 in Marks and Williamson (2003) no.314. (no.1).
