A complete Post-Medieval copper-alloy triangular mount dating to c. AD 1600-1700.  The mount is made of a plate that is domed in cross section being convex on the front and flat on the reverse. It is broadly an isosceles triangle in plan albeit with slightly concave long edges and a rectangular tab projecting from the narrow edge. This tab is slightly thinner creating a shallow ledge. Two integral spikes project from the rear of the mount. the one closest to the acute point is bent upwards while the second is truncated by a transverse break, Both are circular …

The frame is rectangular in cross section, and hexagonal in plan having two edges extending away from vertical arms at a diagonal. A cast copper alloy toggle clasp or fastener of early post medieval date. The object has a triangular plate decorated with ridges and a scalloped rear edge with two rivet holes. The front end narrows to a ridged collar, from which projects a narrow curved neck with a T-shaped transverse bar on the end. The rear end of the plate has a small blind hole next to one of the rivet holes. The underside of the object has a small integrally cast ovoid projection on the underside of the collar.

A cast copper alloy looped fitting of early post medieval date, possibly a suspension hanger for a sword belt. The object has a a symmetrical (bow-tie shaped) plate with a waisted midsection and flanking triangular projections, each with a central rivet hole infilled with the remains of iron rivets. The margins of the plate are cusped, with trefoil terminal ends and the whole has a slightly curved side profile. From one side of the mid section projects a circular suspension or attachment loop.

An unusual cast copper alloy strap hook or hooked fitting of medieval date. The object has a subrectangular plate with slightly concave sides and a plano convex cross section. This has symmetrical decoration of scrolled forms running along the plate, rendered largely illegible by corrosion but probably intended to represent an elongated beast head. One end has a rounded attachment loop with five projections around the edge. The other end has an incomplete hook. C. later 11th-mid 12th century.

A complete cast copper-alloy Medieval strap slide dating to c. AD 1270-1400. The frame is rectangular in cross section, and sub-rectangular in plan being slightly trapezoidal two narrow edges expanding outwards to a wide edge. The object is composed of a sub-ovate and is circular in section. the lower end of the object is flattened, above which are two tapering outward projecting spurs.   Length: 44.94mm, Width: 56.93mm, Thickness: 4.74mm, Weight: 11.8g The metal is green in colour with a slightly pitted patina.

A Medieval copper alloy oblong strap slide. The frame is rectangularin plan with three edges made of a circular sectioned bar. The final edge is wider (7.4mm wide) and more of a pointed oval in cross section . It is a medium green colour. The frame is 18.8mm long, 14.7mm wide, 7.4mm thick at the top, 2.9mm at the bottom and weighs 3.09 grams. Egan and Pritchard (1991) illustrate a very similar example (p.232, fig 147, No.1248) which was found in a context dating to between c.AD 1350 and 1400. see WILT-14A46C, OXON-FD3638, SWYOR-7E5A64 and IOW-A1103F

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman military hooked or looped horse harness fitting from a strap junction dating to c. AD 40-120. The object has a narrow rectangular plate with two rivet holes, both infilled with rusted iron. The rear end of the plate has two notches providing a decorative trefoil. From the front end projects an incomplete hook with a triangular cross section. This originally may have connected to a rear attachment plate.

A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting or belt hook, dating from the Post-Medieval to Modern period (c. AD 1700-1900). Medieval (Mid 14th - mid 15th century) copper alloy strap fitting: a belt mount with two separate (incomplete) rivets, in the form of an unusual combination of motifs: a stylised scallop shell with four radiating grooves conjoined with an open-mouthed animal head. A fragment of a cast copper alloy plate from a strap fitting, possibly a strap hook or a suspension hanger forming part of a sword belt set. The sides are convex and curved and one side has decoration comprising acanthus or vine scrolls moulded in high relief. There are tranverse breaks across both ends, one of which has broken across a rivet hole.
