Incomplete and distorted post-medieval copper alloy rowel spur with remains of an iron rowel pin. The terminals and the rowel are missing. The sides are D-sectioned and the form of the neck and rowel box is very close to those of two spurs from Norwich (Margeson 1993, nos. 1799 and 1800). Length of neck and rowel box 29mm. First half 17th century.

Post-medieval black-coated copper alloy double-looped buckle frame, both loops oval, with a lobe at the ends of the bar and a crudely moulded rosette in the centre of the edges. The whole is slightly curved in profile, probably through distortion. The form is comparable with Whitehead 2003, no. 408. An example from Camber Castle was found in a context dated 1543-1637 (Biddle et al. 2001, 260, fig. 7.2 no. 27). Length 44.2mm. Width 25.2mm. c.1550 - c.1650
