An incomplete, heavily abraded Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type dating from AD 90-130. The brooch has been heavily abraded during its time in the soil. It is undecorated. The bow is hump-shaped, and less than half of it remains. The foot and catch plate have been lost. One of the two wings has been broken off, the other remains which is semi-cylindrical in shape. Bronze Age copper alloy spearhead fragment of side-looped type, dating to the Taunton-Penard metalworking phases (c.1400-1100 BC) of the Middle Bronze Age. The spearhead is broken at both ends and would have been short with a flame- or leaf-shaped blade. The circular socket becomes lozenge-shaped as it defines the central rib of the blade. The remnants of both loops are present at the base of the fragment and appear slight with a circular section.

The bowl of a post medieval (later 17th century) clay tobacco pipe. This bowl is broadly oval and is at an angle of about 55 degrees to the plane of the flat heel. The stem is oval in cross-section and the bore is offset. The shape, size and angle of the bowl, along with the wide bore of the stem suggest a later 17th century date c1660-1680. There is a simple band of vertical indentations below the bowl rim. There is no makers stamp on the foot. The bowl opening varies from 10.1mm to 10.6mm in diameter. The pipe is 36.3mm high, with a maximum diameter in its middle of 20.7mm. It weighs 12.2g.

A complete cast lead-alloy token of Post Medieval date. This uniface token has a faint design of six raised curvilinear lines radiating from the centre. The token is light grey in colour. The token is 22.3mm in diameter and 2.4mm thick, it weighs 7.35g.

A complete cast copper alloy ring of probable Roman - Modern date (50 - 1800). The misshapen ring would of been broadly circular in plan, it is oval in cross section. The profile of the ring is distorted, with a thinner area, possibly due to wear. There is no obvious cast or incised decoration present. The ring has a light - mid greenish grey patina with areas of the reddish brown alloy still showing. The patination of the metal would suggest a Medieval or later date. A fragment from the head of a cast copper alloy Colchester derivative (probably Dolphin style) brooch with hinged pin of Roman date (55-150AD). This brooch is unusually small. The head has a rolled spring case, with a central recess to take the back of the pin when the brooch was open. The casing is lost on both wings revealing the copper alloy axis bar the spring attached to. There is a decorative rib at the junction of the head and one wing, the other wing is worn but could also have had a matching rib. A Roman cast copper alloy coin. It has a smooth yellow-brown patina indicating it is brass rather than bronze. The coin is very eroded and only on the revese can any detail be made out, namely the letters S and C either side of a vertical figure. This coin dates from 50-250 AD and is probably a As. The diameter varies from 24.2mm to 26.1mm. It is 3.2mm thick and weighs 10.1g.
