The object has a central semi-circular perforation which measures 4.10mm in width. It is possible the object was once circular and only half of the object is now remaining. A Post Medieval copper alloy dress fastener dating to the 17th century. The object consists of a flat piece of copper alloy with the remains of a curved rectangular hook at the upper edge. The remains of the hook are now missing that would have once attached to another fastener through a rectangular shaped piercing. Post Medieval jetton: The 'Lion of Saint Mark' jetton, anonymous issues minted between c. 1500 and 1570 AD. Obverse: Lion of St Mark standing left: nimbate and winged. Tail is raised and he holds the Book of Gospels. The obverse is barely visible due to wear. Reverse: Imperial orb surmounted by cross: within a tressure that has three main arches. Paired pellet outside the tressure. The jetton is creased and cracked.

Post Medieval (mid 17th to mid 19th century) pistol or buck shot: A lead or lead alloy sub-spherical ball which has multiple, slightly impacted faces. The ball is sub-sphereical. It has a mid grey patina. It measures 8.7mm diameter, and weighs 3.88g. Ball shot was the prime form of small arms projectile used from the very late Medieval Period to middle of the 19th century. A copper alloy mount with an extensive amount of silvering surviving. The mount is oval but has been damaged and is now bent double, measuring 35.5mm long, 33.4mm wide and 19.2mm thick. The front of the mount is decorated with sinuous incised patterns, raised pellets, punched decoration and a lobed motif in relief which is unintelligible. There is a lump of copper alloy corrosion on the reverse which may be the remains of the attachment mechanism at one end of the mount; the other end is broken. The mount probably dates from the post-medieval period and may have been a harness decoration.

Post-Medieval hooked tag of copper alloy with foliate decoration, resembling a Lilly. This is the eye section of the tag. This flat eye has a rectangular attachment end into which the blunt hook would fit, and a sub oval plate which originally had 3 attachment knops. It dates to the late 16th or 17th centuries. The decoraton is engraved and punched. Weight 3.8g. Length 31.0mm, Width 25.6mm, Thickness 1.4mm. Weight 4.0g.

A complete cast lead alloy Medieval spindle whorl. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. The spindle whorl is quite worn, but on one face there are the faint remains of a raised, chevron pattern from the centre to about 3mm above. The whorl is grey in color and lacks a patina, probably due to it being an alloy. It is 30mm in diameter, and 13mm high. The perforation is 10mm in diameter. It weighs 46.2 g.
