A machine pressed enamelled button of probable modern (1850-1930) date. The button is machine pressed with a pierced debased triskelle like design comprising three crescent shaped arms terminating in trefoil / clover shaped bosses - these bosses are decorated with red and green enamel. The button is a mid brown colour with a corroded surface patina. The remains of an iron hoop are present on the reverse.
The button measures 22.3mm diameter is 6.8mm thick and weighs 1.64 grams
