A complete cut quarter penny / farthing of Henry III (1216-1272). This is an Irish coin from Dublin mint dating 1251 - 1254. We have the obverse from about 8 O'Clock to 11 O'Clock, with the bottom left corner of the Irish single bordered triangle, with the kings hand in the corner holding the sceptre and the letters EX in the legend, and two ringlets of the kings hair with pellets inside. An incomplete, cast, copper alloy, Roman Rosette brooch of the first century AD. The remains consist of the empty spring box, the bow arch and most of the oval bow plate below the arch that extends from the spring box to the tail of the bow, of which only a small stump remains. The plate is decorated with concentric circular ribs, and the arch has a worn decorative longitudinal ridge. An incomplete, cast, copper alloy spur from c1600-c1700. The artefact consists of the heel band only. The band is plain and badly mishapen due to a crush and both its terminals are missing. The neck has snapped off leaving just its oval stump on the heel band. The heel band tapers down in both thickness and cross sectional width towards its terminals. It is an half oval in cross section with the flat face on the inside. Length 43mm, width 35mm. Weight 13.4g.

A complete, cast, lead, spindle whorl of probable Medieval date. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. It has a cream patina. The weight is heavily abraded with multiple gouges so it is hard to say whether it was plain or decorated. Diameter 25mm, height 17mm. The diameter of the central hole is 9mm. Weight 37.4 grams.

A 17th-century post-medieval copper-alloy quarter ounce trade weight, dating from the reign of Charles I or II (1625-1685). The pan weight is formed of a thick disc. On the front there is a raised circumferential rim with an incuse ring at the centre, surrounded by fine circumferential turning marks. Obverse: to left a pillar to lower right a rectangular block set at an irregular angle (to the tower) inscribed 1642. Above a figure possibly leading a horse or dog, to right a stylised tree. Above initials - possibly C B Reverse: Divided evenly by a cross with semi-circular shaped /bi-furcated axis terminals and a circular annulet at centre. An incomplete copper alloy later early medieval pin. The head is a globular with a small collar directly below. The head is decorated with diagonal grooves that are only clear on the lower half. The shaft is circular in cross-section and is nearly complete, with only the tip recently lost. The shaft has been bent twice, firstly at 90 degrees, and then again a further 45 degrees. A cast copper alloy fragment most probably from a medieval 'roller' buckle (1350-1500). The fragment is relatively small comprising a pointed oval hoop from which extends two horizontal bars - one either side . The mid point of one side of the oval has a deliberate worn pin rest / notch. The buckle is a mid grey green colour with an applied black coloured surface - possibly decayed tinning. A cast lead alloy cloth seal of post medieval date (1550-1800). The cloth seal is incomplete and broken - almost all detail is lost through corrosion and abrasion. The seal is formed of two discs conjoined by a folded tablike strip. A cast copper alloy fragment - most probably from a steelyard of Roman date (AD 50-350). The fragment is rectangular in plan and profile and triangular in cross section. The upper surface has a series of incised transverse grooves / notches which are evenly spaced suggesting that they are deliberately graded.
