An incomplete, cast, lead token of Medieval to Post Medieval date. The token is uniface with a raised design. It has been bent, and on one side it is ripped and misshaped with about 1/5th lost. The floral design consists of six petals, radiating from a central pellet within a circumference border. The token is grey in colour, 24mm in diameter (bent), 2mm thick and weighs 5.9g.

Two of the divisions, which are approximately opposite each other, contain a single pellet. The token is light grey ion colour. Diameter 200mm, thickness 3.0mm, weight 4.5g.

A cast lead alloy suspended weight of uncertain date. The crude weight has a flat base and a broadly round cross section which gradually tapers up to the narrow top where an iron loop suspension passed through its body. The stumps of the loop are present at either end. The weight is plain with an off white lead-oxide pationa. There are some rust stains at the top near the stumps of the iron loop. Height 36mm. Diameter 23mm - 26mm. Weight 103g.

The weight is heavily abraded with multiple gouges so it is hard to say whether it was plain or decorated. Diameter 25mm, height 17mm. The diameter of the central hole is 9mm. Weight 37.4 grams.

A complete, cast lead spindle whorl of probable Medieval date. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. The whorl has been miscast, with a leak in the mould resulting in the lead from one side forming as blobs on the other. One of these blobs detached from the whorl as the artefact was being recovered and this blob has been weighed with the rest of the artefact. A complete, cast lead, pot mend / vessel repair of Roman to Medieval date. This mend was for a vessel wall of 3mm to 3.2mm thickness. A fragment of pottery remains in the plug, it is orange in colour with some black inclusions of about 5mm diameter. The mend is broadly tear dropped in plan on one side, and circular on the smaller side. It has a white patina. The mend 34.8mm long, 23.3mm wide and 10.4mm thick, it weighs 41.1g.

An incomplete cast lead alloy weight of unknown date. This plain, crude lead weight is broadly concial in shape and weighs one pound (491g). The weight originally had an iron loop, the stubs of which protude from opposite sides near the top. The conical shape has a broad rounded top, and around the base there is a wide, uneven lip. The weight has a cream patina, with the underlying grey metal showing at the sight of a recent plough strike. The weight is 39.6mm tall and has a maximum diameter of 54.3mm. The weight is similar to example 69 and 75 in Biggs and Withers, Lead Weights.

The cast raised pattern is faint, particularly in the photograph and is also obscured by two gouges from machinery strikes. The pattern consists of 6 unevenly spaced radial lines with single pellets between.The token has a cream patina, and is grey where the underlying metal has been exposed by abbrasion Its maximum diameter is 24.2mm, it is 1.7mm thick and weighs 6.11g.

A complete end spure from three lengths of Post Medieval or Modern lead glazing strip. This sprue, along with another at the other end of the glazing strips, would of helped stop the soft strips deforming during transport. Each strip is H shaped in profile, providing a channel for glass to fit in on either side of the strip. The strips have been cut from the sprue at an angle. The sprue is a dull grey on colour.
