The artefact consists of the outer loop of either a single loop, D shaped buckle or a double looped (spectacle) buckle. The frame has a triangular shaped, notched pin rest, with a decorative groove either side. The frame is oval in cross section, and is titled so that the outer face slopes outwards and downwards towards the rear. It has an even mid- green coloured well preserved surface patina. Weight 2.7g. Remaining length 20mm, width 28mm, thickness 3.8mm.

The fragment includes a rounded, triangular central extension on which the pin would of rested without a notch The arms of the frame are twisted and abraded, and both end before the strap bar. The only markings are four irregularly spaced, incised ringlets on one half of the top side. The weight has a yellow grey patina all over. Rim sherd of a glazed earthenware vessel - possibly a small bowl or dish - of medieval date (1200-1450). The fabric is a hard earthenware: it is mica rich, having well sorted sparse grit-like and grog inclusions. The fabric is an oxidised orange colour. A green coloured glaze has been applied to the interior of the bowl - it has decayed in places to a muddy brown colour. The sherd measures 37.4mm width, 17.2mm high, 20.6mm thick at rim it weighs 10.86 grams. The diameter of the rim is 20cmm and approximately 5% of the rim survives.

There is a small notch acting as a pin rest central on the front of one of the loops. In cross-section the frame is a rounded rectangle. A complete cast lead alloy Medieval spindle whorl. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. The whorl has a hole in one side due to a casting flaw. One end of the piercing has a rounded lip. There is no descernable decoration. The spindle is light grey in colour. The spindle is 24.8mm in diameter, and 14.0mm high. The piercing is 9.4mm in diameter at the plain end and 10.0mm at the lipped end. The whorl weighs 24.6g.

An incomplete cast lead alloy weight of unknown date. This plain, crude lead weight is broadly concial in shape and weighs one pound (491g). The weight originally had an iron loop, the stubs of which protude from opposite sides near the top. The conical shape has a broad rounded top, and around the base there is a wide, uneven lip. The weight has a cream patina, with the underlying grey metal showing at the sight of a recent plough strike. The weight is 39.6mm tall and has a maximum diameter of 54.3mm. The weight is similar to example 69 and 75 in Biggs and Withers, Lead Weights.

This pipe would of fitted into the stock of the fiream beneath the barrel to hold the ramrod. The pipe has been flattened but its original internal diameter of the pipe would of been about 12mm which gives us a rough calibre for the musket barrel of .5 of an inch, suggesting it was for game shooting rather than a military firearm. A lead pot mend of Roman to Post Medieval date. Cast plug to mend a vessel wall of estimated 2mm thickness. The object is sub-oval in plan, 17.2mm x 11.8mm. Both sides are flat, giving an H shaped profile, with one side being longer than the other, thickness of 11.0mm. The mend has a creamy grey patina. It weighs 7.29g
