A complete, cast, lead alloy token of Medieval to Post Medieval date. The token is uniface with a complex raised linear design within a raised circumference. The unevenly spaced design consists of two sets of three broadly parallel lines that form a cross, within an outer voided cross. In each quarter a diagonal line runs from the apex of the outer cross to the edge. The token is grey in colour, 17mm in diameter, 2.5mm thick and weighs 2.7g.

An incomplete and eroded cast copper alloy brooch of Roman date. The artefact consists of the wings and rear half of the bow, the axis bar, spring, pin and catch plate are lost. The wings are semi-cylindrical in plan with flat end caps that are not pierced. The head of the brooch bow is hump like - being a comma shape in profile. At the rear of the bow is a broken loop. The bow is D shaped in cross section and tapers to an eroded point. The surface of the brooch is worn, but in recessed places there are flecks of silver, and under the bow is a larger patch. A heavily clipped, silver sixpence of Charles I, 1625-1649. Obverse shows kings crowned bust facing left with VI behind head. Rear shows flat topped shield, area above shield too worn to see any date or symbol. The majority of the legends have been lost to clipping. The date range of this coin can be reduced to the period 1625-1629 due to the use of a square topped shield over long cross fourchee (rather than later oval or garnished shields). This suggests this coin was struck within Group A or B Thickness 0.5mm, maximum clipped diameter 22mm. Weight 1.8g

A complete, cast, copper-alloy buckle frame of Medieval to post Medieval date (c1200-c1600). The buckle is a single loop and D shaped, with the rear bar slightly reduced in length. The frame is a narrow oval in cross section, deeper than it is wide. The sides of the bar taper in depth from front to rear, with the rear bar being 3.7mm thick and the outer edge 4.5mm thick. The frame is 19mm long by 31mm wide. Weight 5.3g.

An incomplete, cast copper alloy pot leg of Medieval to Post Medieval date. The artefact consist of the foot and part of the leg. The foot is broadly D shaped in cross section with a rounded back back and flat face. Ther eis a prominent central ridge running down the centre of the front face. The foot extends beyond the face as a thin rectangular pad. The leg is a dark green in colour with some sooty deposits. The width is 33mm, the truncated height is 32mm, it is 20mm thick, and weighs 83g.

A near complete, cast copper alloy buckle frame dating c1575-c1700. The frame is an asymetrical double loop, with a trapezoidal rear loop and a rounded front loop. The frame is decorated with prominent knops at either end of the strap bar. The frame has a flat rear, and a rounded face and sides that taper in slightly from the rear to the front. The strap bar is half round. The strap is dark brown in colour with no sign of any surface coating. A cast lead alloy suspended weight of uncertain date. The crude weight has a flat base and a broadly round cross section which gradually tapers up to the narrow top where an iron loop suspension passed through its body. The stumps of the loop are present at either end. The weight is plain with an off white lead-oxide pationa. There are some rust stains at the top near the stumps of the iron loop. Height 36mm. Diameter 23mm - 26mm. Weight 103g.

A copper alloy Roman coin / nummus most probably of the fourth century. The coin is heavily abraded from ploughing with almost all of both surfaces removed, with just a bit of dark green patina remaining of the original surface. There are no distinguishable features remaining. The eroded surface is red brown. Diameter 12.5mm. Thickness 0.9mm. Weight 0.4g.
