An incomplete, silver, cut halfpenny of Henry III. The coin is clipped and a small section has ripped off. Only one quarter of the rear legend remains and it contains a litigated ON followed by a W, giving a mint of Winchester, Wilton or Wallingford. Class III, 1248-1250. Incomplete diameter 15.2mm, thickness 0.6mm, weight 0.6g.

A complete cut quarter penny / farthing of Henry III (1216-1272). This is an Irish coin from Dublin mint dating 1251 - 1254. We have the obverse from about 8 O'Clock to 11 O'Clock, with the bottom left corner of the Irish single bordered triangle, with the kings hand in the corner holding the sceptre and the letters EX in the legend, and two ringlets of the kings hair with pellets inside. We have the third quarter of the reverse with the first three letters DEV of the Dublin mint, and three pellets between the cross arms. The coin weighs 0.3g, its radius is 9.7mm and it is 0.6mm thick…

A complete silver "hammered" penny of Henry III (1216-1272). This 'voided' long cross penny is class 3a2 dating it to 1248-1249. It was minted in Gloucester by the moneyer Lucas. Diameter 18.0mm. Thickness 0.9mm. Weight 1.50g. North: 987 The finder has images of the coin to Robert Page (of http://www.henry3.com) who notes The other coin is a class 3a2 - as indicated by the characteristic initial mark - sharp points, and lowest pointing vertically down. Incomplete silver penny of Henry III, class 7b. Most of the left hand side has been ripped off, probably by a modern plough. The surviving part of the coin has the rear inscription SMVNDE ON which can only match Osmund of Canterbury.
