The fragment is to small to accurately estimate the vessel diameter or form. The vessel wall is 8.6mm thick, the fragment is 24.5mm tall by 23.9mm long and weighs 5.45g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy furniture fitting of post medieval date (1450-1750). The aretfact comes from the lower section of a drop handle (or draw pull). The rectangular upper loop is lost, as is the left hand terminal. The plate of the handle is sub-rectangular in both plan and cross section; the edges are bevelled. The lower edge is bifurcated and curves on the reverse, with a small oval knop positioned on the remaining outer edge. An incomplete, Medieval or Post Medieval (AD 1200-1800), cast, lead alloy token. The token is broadly round and uniface, but with abraded edges. The cast raised pattern is faint, particularly in the photograph and is also obscured by two gouges from machinery strikes. The pattern consists of 6 unevenly spaced radial lines with single pellets between.The token has a cream patina, and is grey where the underlying metal has been exposed by abbrasion Its maximum diameter is 24.2mm, it is 1.7mm thick and weighs 6.11g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy leg from a vessel probably a cauldron of later medieval date (AD 1300 - 1600). The leg is broadly sub-rectangular in plan, expanding slightly from the foot to the top. In cross section the leg is broadly D shaped, with a flat back / reverse edge and three broad ribs on the face which run the length of the leg and through the foot. A Roman cast copper alloy coin. It has a smooth yellow-brown patina indicating it is brass rather than bronze. The coin is very eroded and only on the revese can any detail be made out, namely the letters S and C either side of a vertical figure. This coin dates from 50-250 AD and is probably a As. The diameter varies from 24.2mm to 26.1mm. It is 3.2mm thick and weighs 10.1g.

A late medieval - post medieval cast copper alloy coin weight. It is broadly square in plan and rectangular in cross section. Both the upper and lower surfaces are corroded - distorting the design. However, the upper surface is most probably a crowned shield displaying three lis of France whilst the reverse is a lis. The weight weighs 3.41 grams, which is 52.6 grains which falls within the weight range of a French Ecu (1422 -1525). The fact the weight is double sided suggests that it was made in the low coutries. There is a thinner area, possibly due to wear. There is no obvious cast or incised decoration present. A near complete Post Medieval copper alloy cast buckle. This is a two piece shoe or knee buckle dating from 1660-1720, with a symetrical double loop drilled frame with a separate spindle and a chape. The frame has raised concave sides, each with six radiating groves, its sides are convex with central collars, each collar having a central grove which serves as a tongue / pin rest. A fragment from the head of a cast copper alloy Colchester derivative (probably Dolphin style) brooch with hinged pin of Roman date (55-150AD). This brooch is unusually small. The head has a rolled spring case, with a central recess to take the back of the pin when the brooch was open. The casing is lost on both wings revealing the copper alloy axis bar the spring attached to. There is a decorative rib at the junction of the head and one wing, the other wing is worn but could also have had a matching rib. It is uniface with an uneven pattern of lines and pellets; this pattern consists of a vertical and diagonal cross dividing the field unevenly, within the lower divisions are single pellets. The token has a red-brown colour, but is grey where abraded. Maximum diameter 23.6mm, 4.5mm thick. Weight 8.22g.

A fragment of a Medieval, cast, copper alloy buckle. The fragment comes from the curved side of a single loop D-shaped buckle with narrowed and offset strap bar c1250-1500. The frame is flat backed, with a rounded front, and a lip on the outer edge. The frame increases in width towards the centre. The lip shows hints of a single row of decorative dots. The fragment has a dark green patina. Similar examples can be seen in Whitehead (page 19 - Cat No 59-64) who suggests a medieval date c. 1250-1500. A complete, Medieval or Post Medieval, cast, lead alloy token. The token is round and uniface. The pattern is similar to a sailing ship's wheel / or a cartwheel / spiderweb, consisting of eight equally spaced lines radiating from a central much abraded pellet to the edge of the flan. A circle divides these ribs half way from the centre to the edge. This design is similar to Powell's Type 3 (segmented token) although bares similarities to a number of his types Diameter 13.5mm, Thickness 1.9m, Weight 1.81g.
