A complete silver penny of Charles I (1625-1649). The penny has been heavily clipped. On the obverse is the King's bust, on the reverse a shield, both without inner circles. The coin is most probably from Group D (1632-1640) with the initial mark being two pellets.
Note error in reverse inscription reading TRHONVM rather than THRONVM
Diameter 13.5mm, thickness 0.7mm, weight 0.50g.
