Only one quarter of the rear legend remains and it contains a litigated ON followed by a W, giving a mint of Winchester, Wilton or Wallingford. Class III, 1248-1250. A heavily clipped, silver sixpence of Charles I, 1625-1649. Obverse shows kings crowned bust facing left with VI behind head. Rear shows flat topped shield, area above shield too worn to see any date or symbol. The majority of the legends have been lost to clipping. The date range of this coin can be reduced to the period 1625-1629 due to the use of a square topped shield over long cross fourchee (rather than later oval or garnished shields). This suggests this coin was struck within Group A or B Thickness 0.5mm, maximum clipped diameter 22mm. Weight 1.8g

A complete cut quarter penny / farthing of Henry III (1216-1272). This is an Irish coin from Dublin mint dating 1251 - 1254. We have the obverse from about 8 O'Clock to 11 O'Clock, with the bottom left corner of the Irish single bordered triangle, with the kings hand in the corner holding the sceptre and the letters EX in the legend, and two ringlets of the kings hair with pellets inside. A clipped post-medieval silver shilling of James I (1603-1625). Uncertain coinage (North 2072-2073, 2099-2101, 2124-2125). Initial mark: unclear, dating to 1603-1625. Mint of London (Tower). North (1975, 121-124). This coin has been heavily clipped inside of its inner bead circle, so the legends have been removed. The obverse is very worn with only the XII denomination and the crown showing. The reverse is worn with only the outline of the shield and the bottom two quarters showing. The maximum diameter is 20.5mm, it is 0.7mm thick, and weighs 2.10g.

Just over half the coin remains after being ripped by farm machinery. The penny is 14.2mm in diameter, 0.5mm thick and weighs 0.37g. The coin has been pierced, possibly for suspension, through the reverse, with burring on the obverse, which suggest a punch was used rather than the coin was drilled. The hole is at around 9 o'clock on the obverse, corresponding to around 5 o'clock on the reverse.

A complete penny of Edward III - most probably from the 3rd 'florin' coinage - 1344-51. The penny is well worn and crumpled. The coin is double struck. The first strike was off flan as I can make out the inner edge of the first legend outside of the second legend. The only descernable part of the legend is DVS followed by a single saltire stop. Only one lock of hair is descernable in the portrait. On the reverse I can make out RACI C in the legend, and a quatre foil at the centre of the cross. Making this an Archiepiscopal issue from York. Diameter 18.4mm, weight 0.9g
