A copper alloy mount with an extensive amount of silvering surviving. The mount is oval but has been damaged and is now bent double, measuring 35.5mm long, 33.4mm wide and 19.2mm thick. The front of the mount is decorated with sinuous incised patterns, raised pellets, punched decoration and a lobed motif in relief which is unintelligible.
