A silver washed copper alloy contemporary forgery / copy of a shilling of Edward VI. It is most probably from his third issue (1550-3); ; initial mark: illegible; mint: probably London or Southwark. Diameter 27.8mm, thickness 0.4mm. Weight 1.33 grams The coin is poorly struck and is underweight and very thin.
