Cast and wrought copper alloy open bracelet probably dating to either the Roman period or the late medieval / post-medieval periods (100-450 or 1450-1650 AD). The bracelet is formed from three lengths of oval sectioned copper alloy wire twisted together to form one ‘rope like’ length. The diameter of the individual wires is 2.1mm width x 1.8mm thickness. The two terminals of the bracelet are formed by joining the three ends of the wire together. The terminals are sub-rectangular and taper to rounded points.
