A clipped, silver halfgroat of Charles first dating from 1646-1648. The mint mark is a sceptre. The coin is worn, scratched and heavily clipped. The Obverse is a bust of the king, which is covered in fine scratches, but the main features are clear, as is the II denomination behind the king's head. The remaining letters of the legend are ...
