A cast lead alloy (possibly pewter) fragment from a whistle of post medieval or early modern date (1650 – 1900 although probably 19th century). The fragment consists of the lower part of the cylindrical body of the whistle and the perforated knop shaped terminal. Although crushed in cross section the whistle would have originally been oval. The outer surface is decorated with a series of cast circumferential bands which enclose the lower and end parts of the whistle. A crude lead weight. This flat weight is lozenge shaped in plan. The weight has no decoration or marks. The tip of one corner is slightly thicker on the front side. The weight has an off-white patina all over, apart from where recent abrasion has occurred. Height 41.3mm, width 41.5mm, maximum thickness 8.6mm Weight 66.7g (2.35 Ounces).

A cast lead weight of post medieval date. The unmarked weight is broadly flat and broadly circular in plan. It has a pronounced and battered, irregular rim, which is most prominent on the top side. The irregular nature of the rim is probably due to knocks in the plough soil, which have also slighlty bent the weight and left a couple of gouges. The weight has a yellow grey patina all over. The maximum diameter of the weight is51.0mm, and its maximum thickness, from the rim, is 11.2mm. It weighs 139.6g (4.92 oz).

A complete, cast, lead alloy weight, probably Post Medieval in date but due to the lack of other dating may date from the Roman - Post Medieval periods. This crudely shaped weight has a flat base, cylidrical body and domed top. It is sub-circular in plan. There is a central piercing. The surface is very abraded, with a yellow white patina in the unworn areas, and grey yellow colour where abrasion has occurred. There is no obvious decoration or symbols on the well worn surface. A complete, cast, lead alloy weight, probably Post Medieval in date, although these are difficult to date and therefore a broader Roman - Post Medieval date range is suggested. This plain weight has a squat, cylindrical shape. There is a small central piercing. It is mostly grey over its smooth surface, with a yellow cream patina in its crevices. There is no obvious decoration or symbols on the surfaces. It's maximum diameter is 25.9mm, and it is 14.9mm high. It weighs 40.8g. The central piercing's diameter is 4.8mm.

A plain, cast lead weight, of probable Post Medieval date. This weight has suffered a couple of heavy plough strikes which have gouged and mishaped it. Originally it was conical in shape with a large central piercing. It has a yellow-white patina, and is grey in colour where abrasion and strikes have occurred. It is 14.5 mm high and has a maximum diameter 26.8mm (although probably less before it was damaged). It weighs 36.8g.

A complete, cast lead alloy, weight of post medieval date. The weight is flat and broadly circular in plan. It has an abraded , irregular rim, which is most prominent on the top side. The irregular nature of the rim is probably due to movement in the plough soil. On both sides of the weight is a central indentation. The only markings are four irregularly spaced, incised ringlets on one half of the top side. The weight has a yellow grey patina all over. The maximum diameter of the weight is 30.5mm, and its maximum thickness, at the rim, is 5.4mm. It weighs 23.95g ( 0.845oz).

A 17th-century post-medieval copper-alloy quarter ounce trade weight, dating from the reign of Charles I or II (1625-1685). The pan weight is formed of a thick disc. On the front there is a raised circumferential rim with an incuse ring at the centre, surrounded by fine circumferential turning marks. There are three stamped marks on the front: a crowned letter 'C' (at 11 o'clock), which is the royal cypher; The dagger of St. Paul (at 1 'clock), for London, the place of its manufacture; a ewer (at 6 o'clock), for the Founders Company of London. A sherd of pottery from the rim of a Post Medieval open bowl. This rim is rounded, protuding on the outside to form a beaded lip. The sherd extends for the full height, 26mm, of the bowl and includes a bit of the base. The sherd is less than 5% of the circumference making the bowl diameter hard to measure. The fabric is hard and course being orange in colour. On the outer surface are patcehs of olive green glaze and larger areas of grey residue from the glaze. An incomplete, cast copper alloy pot leg of Medieval to Post Medieval date. The artefact consist of the foot and part of the leg. The foot is broadly D shaped in cross section with a rounded back back and flat face. Ther eis a prominent central ridge running down the centre of the front face. The foot extends beyond the face as a thin rectangular pad. The leg is a dark green in colour with some sooty deposits. The width is 33mm, the truncated height is 32mm, it is 20mm thick, and weighs 83g.
