A complete, cast, copper alloy pot leg of Medieval or Post Medieval date. The pot leg is subrectangular in plan, tapering slightly from the top to bottom in both width and depth. In cross section it is sub oval, the back is slightly rounded in the middle, with more pronounced curvature at the edges which meet a broad, flat front, with a single raised central rib, thats runs the length of the leg. A post-medieval silver sixpence of James I (1603-1625). Third coinage (North 2126). Initial mark: trefoil, dated 1624 (on coin). Mint of London (Tower). North (1975, 124). Worn, it measures from 25.4 to 26.6mm in diameter, 0.6mm in thickness, and weighs 2.61g The coin has ben struck slightly off flan. The edge of the coin has been crumpled, probably from abrasion in the plough soil.

An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle dating to c. 1650-1720. What remains is one loop and the bar of frame. The buckle has cast floral decoration with a rosette at the centre of the outer edge of the loop (rose shaped knop) and sub-triangular protrusions at both ends of the narrowed pin bar in the form of moulded lis. The protrusions at the pin bar would have sat at the centre of pronouncedly incurved top and bottom edges. A clipped post-medieval silver shilling of James I (1603-1625). Uncertain coinage (North 2072-2073, 2099-2101, 2124-2125). Initial mark: unclear, dating to 1603-1625. Mint of London (Tower). North (1975, 121-124). This coin has been heavily clipped inside of its inner bead circle, so the legends have been removed. The obverse is very worn with only the XII denomination and the crown showing. The reverse is worn with only the outline of the shield and the bottom two quarters showing. The maximum diameter is 20.5mm, it is 0.7mm thick, and weighs 2.10g.

A complete, cast lead alloy, weight of post medieval date. The weight is flat and broadly circular in plan. It has an abraded , irregular rim, which is most prominent on the top side. The irregular nature of the rim is probably due to movement in the plough soil. On both sides of the weight is a central indentation. The only markings are four irregularly spaced, incised ringlets on one half of the top side. The weight has a yellow grey patina all over. The maximum diameter of the weight is 30.5mm, and its maximum thickness, at the rim, is 5.4mm. It weighs 23.95g ( 0.845oz).

An incomplete, cast copper alloy buckle of Post Medieval date. The artefact consists of the buckle frame, which is subrectangular and a single loop. The frame is quarter rounded on its outer face, with slightly concave sides, and single lobed knop. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. The buckle as an evenly developed mid green patina. It measures 25.omm long by 23.8 wide, and is 3.2 mm thick. It weighs 3.22g.

The wheel design consists of six rasied lines radiating from a central boss. The token is mid grey in colour. The token diameter is 18.3mm. It is a maximum of 4.5 mm thick st the central boss. An incomplete clay pipe dating between 1660 and 1700. This artefact consists of just the bowl and foot. The bowl is bulbous and about 22 degress from perpendicular to the foot. There is a simple band of vertical indentations below the bowl rim. There is no makers stamp on the foot. The bowl opening varies from 10.1mm to 10.6mm in diameter. The pipe is 36.3mm high, with a maximum diameter in its middle of 20.7mm. It weighs 12.2g.

An incomplete post-medieval cast copper-alloy strap-fitting. The artefact consists of a blunt hook, bent slightly to one side, which holds a separate pendent ring. Above the hook the mount is sub oval with two lugs above that bifurcate forming a V shape. Beyond this is mount is broken, so that it is now incomplete. The mount was attached by a single iron rivet in the centre of the oval element, just below the bifurcation, the corroded remains of which are still present in the fitting. A copper-alloy buckle of medieval or post-medieval date, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. The frame is a plain, formed of two conjoined oval loops. There is a small notch acting as a pin rest central on the front of one of the loops. In cross-section the frame is a rounded rectangle. The buckle has a mid-green patina with small specs of light green corrosion product. The frame is 39.4mm long, 27.0mm wide and 2.9mm thick. It weighs 6.41g. Similar buckle frames are illustrated by Whitehead (2003, 52-53; nos. 291-299) which are given a wide date range, c. 1350-1650.

A sherd of pottery from the rim of a Post Medieval open bowl. This rim is rounded, protuding on the outside to form a beaded lip. The sherd extends for the full height, 26mm, of the bowl and includes a bit of the base. The sherd is less than 5% of the circumference making the bowl diameter hard to measure. The fabric is hard and course being orange in colour. On the outer surface are patcehs of olive green glaze and larger areas of grey residue from the glaze. An incomplete cast copper alloy ramrod pipe from a musket or rifle of Post Medieval or Modern date (1650-1850). This pipe would of fitted into the stock of the fiream beneath the barrel to hold the ramrod. The pipe has been flattened but its original internal diameter of the pipe would of been about 12mm which gives us a rough calibre for the musket barrel of .5 of an inch, suggesting it was for game shooting rather than a military firearm.
