A complete, cast lead spindle whorl of probable Medieval date. It is biconical in shape, with a circular perforation in the centre. The whorl has been miscast, with a leak in the mould resulting in the lead from one side forming as blobs on the other. One of these blobs detached from the whorl as the artefact was being recovered and this blob has been weighed with the rest of the artefact. A fragment from a medieval copper-alloy 'locking' buckle. This fragment consists of the locking arm, including the thinned section which would have gone through the frame, and, at one end of this latter, the thickened curved arm which has been broken. The arm also widens as it continues from the thinned section; it curves through ninety degress before the old break. The thinned element is cicular in cross-section; the arm is oval in cross-section. A fragment from a cast copper-alloy vessel foot of medieval or post-medieval date. The fragment is sub-rectangular; the front is wider than the reverse, with angled sides creasting a broad wedge shaped, or trapezoidal, cross-section. The front of the leg curves towards the centre from the edges before rising in a pronounced central rib that runs longitudinally. An incomplete copper-alloy folding strap clasp with rotating end and hinged plate. The frame is cast with one strap bar being recessed and offset from the other. The incomplete rotating closure is of sheet copper alloy. The incomplete rectangular plate is also of folded sheet copper alloy, and has a single rivet for strap attachment. The clasp has a well developed mid-green patina. The frame is 12.6mm long by 14.0mm wide, 0.9mm thick and 4.1mm deep. The sheet for the rotating end is 0.7mm thick. The plate sheet is 0.5mm thick.
