Post Medieval jetton: The 'Lion of Saint Mark' jetton, anonymous issues minted between c. 1500 and 1570 AD.
Obverse: Lion of St Mark standing left: nimbate and winged. Tail is raised and he holds the Book of Gospels. The obverse is barely visible due to wear.
Reverse: Imperial orb surmounted by cross: within a tressure that has three main arches. Paired pellet outside the tressure.
The jetton is creased and cracked.

A copper alloy Tournai (French) jetton dating from the later medieval period (1300-1500). The jetton is heavily worn; one face heavily erorded and the other made indistinct through wear. The best preserved face shows either three fleur-de-lis within a tressure of arches or three orbs (for Tournai) in a tressure of arches. An inscription around the edge is too heavily worn to be legible.
Diameter 25.4mm Weight 3.3g.

A copper alloy (French) jetton possibly from Paris dating from the later medieval period (1300-1500) possibly follwing the reunification of France under Charles VII 1447-1461. The jetton is heavily worn; one face heavily erorded and the other made indistinct through wear. The best preserved face shows three fleur-de-lis evenly spaced. An inscription around the edge is heavily worn [...] ROVFIN [...] possibly along the lines of VIVE LE ROI RT LE DOFIN AMEN. The reverse face is lost
