An incomplete copper alloy later early medieval pin. The head is a globular with a small collar directly below. The head is decorated with diagonal grooves that are only clear on the lower half. The shaft is circular in cross-section and is nearly complete, with only the tip recently lost. The shaft has been bent twice, firstly at 90 degrees, and then again a further 45 degrees. Diameter of head 7.63mm. Maximum diameter of shaft 4.12mm. Bent length 52mm, if straightened about 100mm. Weight 7.7 grams. A similar pin has been recorded from Icklingham, Suffolk (SF-EBC150) …

A possible, incomplete cast lead alloy (pewter?), disc brooch of Weetch type 5 and early medieval date (10th century AD). There is some debate as to whether this is actually part of a brooch or possibly a post medieval lead token; due to significant areas of damage it is impossible to be certain of the identification. An incomplete cast copper alloy ball-headed pin head of probable mid - late Early Medieval date c. 700-1000 AD. The pin head is incomplete. The head is spherical with four rounded knops projecting from the sides and a slightly larger top knop. The shaft / shank is broken and incomplete, at the junction between head and shank is a raised slight collar. The shank then tapers and expands along its length until a broken and abraded edge.
