A complete copper alloy Post Medieval mount depicting a cherub’s face, c. 1650-1800AD. The mount consists primarily of a cherub’s face, with neo-classical features, curly hair and rounded cheeks. There are two mirrored 'S' shaped frames that emerge from either sides of the cherub’s face and pass down beneath the face. A possible lead weight of Post medieval to Modern date, 1500 – 1900AD. The object is a thick block of lead which is flat on the underside, apart from a central hollow, and uneven and slightly domed on the upper face.  There two circular holes through the main body of the weight, one near each end. An incomplete copper alloy disc, possibly from a disc headed pin dating from the Early Medieval period, c. 700-800AD. The disc is decorated with incuse scrolls which has been gilded.  There are traces of gilding surviving in the grooves of the decoration.  The reverse is plain and undecorated. There are two circular holes surviving which may have been the result of the disc being riveted to a plate with a pin. An incomplete copper alloy zoomorphic strap end (Thomas Class B. Type 1) dating to the early Medieval period (c. 800-1100AD) The terminal takes the form of a stylised animal head with simple moulded features with a collar comprising two incised lines behind. There is traces of decoration on the rest of the body. Two further incised lines appear before the split end, which would have had rivet holes for attachment that is now missing. One end is pointed and the opposite end is narrowed to form an elongated knop. On the rear are two incomplete and integral spikes. The object has a pale green patina. Fragment of a post medieval copper alloy Spanish Netherlands escalin (half testoon) of Philip IV (1621-1665). The obverse has a rampant lion with a sword and shield and the legend P[HIL IIII D.G.HISP ET.] INDIAR.REX. The reverse has the arms of Spain and the legend [ARCHID AVS] DVX BVRG BRA [Zc].
