A complete copper alloy zoomorphic decorative pouring spout or laver, probably from an ewer of the Late Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1400 - AD 1500. This artefact has an integrally cast angular dog's head terminal with a tubular spout extending out from the dog's open sub lozenge-shaped mouth (internal diameter of spout: 6.5mm), the tube is gripped by the jaws of the dog. Two fragments of a copper-alloy handle for a vessel of Post Medieval dating circa AD 1400-1800. There are two objects, one larger and one smaller. The larger is U-shaped and circular in cross section, formed of twisted wire. It is slightly thicker one one end, where the original metal is slightly visible, and tapers towards the thinner end. A handle sherd dating to the medieval period, likely part of a cooking pot. The sherd is a short handle in its entirety that has broken at the point where it would have met the body of the vessel, the surface roughly textured and largely abraded. The sherd can be identified as a handle by its shape and a thumb-shaped indentation on the upper surface, which indicates how it would have been held. A lead-alloy spout fragment, possibly from a vessel, of Medieval to Post Medieval date (c. AD 1400-1800). The fragment consists of a circular perforated collar. The spout extends outwards from the bottom of the collar and curves downwards at the tip. The spout has a convex exterior and concave interior. No decoration is present. The spout has a cream coloured surface patina. It measures 17mm in length and width of 43.2mm. It has a thickness of 6.6mm and weighs 14.9 grams.
