An incomplete and worn Roman copper alloy Sestertius struck under Antoninus Pius in Rome, dating circa AD 161. Reece Period 7. The obverse is worn and chipped along the edges, showing a slightly worn bust of Marcus Aurelius, bare-headed and draped facing right, with the inscription AVRELIVS CAESAR visible. The reverse is illegible. This coin is similar to type RIC III Antoninus Pius 1360B in the OCRE database. Measurements: Diameter: 34.1mm Thickness: 3.6mm Weight: 17g
