An incomplete copper alloy two-piece swivel fitting dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1100-1500). The piece represents the half with the swivel and consists of a sub-oval frame with zoomorphic terminals flanking a central cylindrical block. The terminals represent two hound-like beasts with their mouth's agape on either side of the block. On the underside of the block the integral cylindrical spigot extends. A complete lead or lead alloy mount of unknown exact date. The object is in the form of a stylised fish; S-shaped in plan and oval in cross-section. The animal is curves with is face and tail facing downwards and its back arched. The face has a rounded knop on the chin and a projecting snout giving the face a dragonesque look. The animal has moulded details on all sides depicting the scales, fins and facial features. Traces of gilding adhere across much of the object. The lead has a greyish white patina. A complete copper alloy key dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1300). The key consists of a lozenge-shaped bow which is aligned so that one of its corners sits in the shaft. The bow is decorated with four small circular holes aligned with the cardinal points, with two knops situated on the upper and lower corners of the bow. A cast copper-alloy leg from a posnet or skillet of Medieval to Post-Medieval date (AD. 1100 - 1800). In cross section it is roughly rectangular with rounded corners. In plan it is also rectangular. On one face the leg is plain and undecorated. The opposing face has a central cast rib which runs vertically the whole length of the leg. A post-medieval silver halfgroat of Charles I (AD 1625 - 1649). Group D, fourth bust and probably crown initial mark dating to AD 1635-6. Minted at London (Tower). North (1994) Vol 1 no. 2257. The coin has been pierced through the centre, from the obverse to the reverse. There is wear on the edges of the puncture on the reverse side where there is a raised lip. The coin is 16.44mm in diameter, 0.70mm thick and weighs 0.7g.
