A fragment from a copper-alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date, circa AD 75-200. The brooch fragment consists of only the lower bow, foot and catchplate. The lower bow has a sub-triangular cross setction and has no decoration present. The foot consists of a rounded knop. At the reverse, the catchplate is solid.  The brooch is dark green in colour and has an even surface patina.  Measurements: length 40.9 mm, width 6.9mm, thickness inc catchplate 11.5mm, weight 4.9 grams

An incomplete sub square lead alloy artefact of uncertain function and form, but probably of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The artefact is sub square in shape. One corner has a circular indentation for attachement. The front exhibits decoration consisting of: five rounded pellets in the centre, in a cross design, within an arched tressure, all within a lozenge shaped cartouche. Incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy hawking whistle, c.AD 1700-1800. The body is cylindrical and hollow, and tapers to the extended hemispherical mouth piece. Perforating the upper centre of the body is a crescent-shape sound hole. Top is decorated by ridge which appears to have beeb brokenThe Top appears to have a decorative pattern. There are two collar running arounf the narower area. Appears to have been made in two halfs and joined together

A complete lead or lead alloy line weight or net sinker of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1800). The weight is a oval shape with parallel lines on rear and a deep ridge on front. A sub circular hole is present at the top for suspension. This has an internal diameter of 7.0 mm. The loop has been bent out of shape, and is now at right angles to the body of the weight. It measures 48.6 mm in length, 19.7 mm wide and 11.9 mm thick. It weighs 59 g.  The weight is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

This measures 5.4 mm wide by 10.1 mm long. The base is rhomboid or diamond shaped, with cross hatched decoration on each face. The weight terminated with a blunt point. It measures 62.4 mm in length, 16.6 mm wide and 14.0 mm thick. It weighs 49.9 g (1.76 oz). The weight is a mid to light grey to white colour, with an even surface patina.
