A vertical crease is present, suggesting that the token had originally been folded in half. The token has a diameter of 11.39 mm and is 1.46 mm thick. It weighs 0.9 g. The token is a light grey to off white colour, with an even surface patina.

A circular lead uniface token of probable medieval date. The token is decorated on one side with a cross with triangular wedge shaped arms, each with a raised pellet in, and with a raised pellet between each arm. There are possible traces of a design on the reverse, although whether this is a deliberate design is uncertain and if the design was deliberate it is now very worn. The lack of wear on the front suggests that the object generally is not very worn. Such tokens may have been used as localised small change, as gaming pieces, and a religious significance should not be discounted…
