A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting or belt hook, of Late Post Medieval to Modern dating (AD 1700 to 1900). The belt hook is S shaped with an oval cross section. A zoomorphic probable snake headed terminal is present at one end with a narrowed and rounded nose. One face is decorated with two oval eyes with a pellet in the centre. The snake has an arched brow. The reverse of the head is plain. The opposing terminal is the snakes tail which is narrowed and more pointed compared to the head end. An incomplete copper alloy belt mount, of Medieval date (13th to 15th Centuries). Around 75% of the mount is present, the projecting lugs are not present. The mount is of the bar type and consists of a domed central oval, missing the two projecting lugs which held the rivets. The central oval is domed, with five horizontal grooves as decoration in the middle. The reverse is concave. The reverse is undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy toggle clasp (eye-section) dating to the early Post Medieval period (c. AD 1500-1600). The object is one part of a two-section sword belt fitting of Type 1 classification (Read 2008: 208-9; see nos 753-755). The eye is a rectangular open slot with a circular attachment loop on one side. The short ends of the slot are stepped forward, the terminal end of which is curved to accommodate the bar from the toggle of the second section now missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy decorative belt fitting or possible ‘apron mount’, dating to the 1st/ 2nd century AD (length: 31mm; width: 40mm; thickness: 12mm; weight: 11.54g). A complete cast copper alloy strap fitting or ‘strap-slide’ with enamelled decoration, dating from the 1st-3rd century AD (length: 20.5mm; width: 18.5mm; thickness/ depth: 13mm; weight: 5.85g). The central portion of the mount is a quatrefoil shape in plan, with a knop protruding on one leaf, and opposite this an elongated knop with a high-relief rib as decoration. The quatrefoil is decorated with a high-relief 'X' with a pellet in the centre. The upper surface has traces of a dark green patina. The reverse has two complete integral studs at either terminal. Both studs are circular in cross-section and bent over. There is there remains of a central stud, but this is incomplete.

The item is rectangular in plan which tapers slightly towards a narrow edge, and has rounded corners. In profile the widest terminal of the item divides, forming two plates. Each corner of the plates has a rivet hole with a circular sectioned rivet remaining, fixing the two plate together. The item has broken into two portions - at an oblique angle the item has broken across the lower portion of the fitting. The upper surface has been engraved with a figure.
