Stone perforated axe-hammer of probably the very late Neolithic or early Bronze Age period, dating from c. BC 2500 - c. BC 1800. Axe-hammers are also known as Battle Axes and some of the smaller examples have been recorded as perforated maces (mace-heads). An incomplete polished axehead, of Neolithic dating (c. 3300 BC to c. 2200 BC) The polished axehead has been made from a soft sedimentary stone, and it now exhibits a weathered surface. It is sub triangular in shape, with a pointed oval cross ection. The blade and the butt are incomplete, leaving the cutting edge in complete. Some flakes have been removed from the sides and the blade. It measures 155.0 mm in length, with a maximum width of 60.0 mm at the blade, and a minimum width of 22.0 mm at the butt. A complete struck / knapped tertiary debitage flake, of probable Neolithic dating (c. 4,000 BC to c. 2, 350 BC). The debitage flake has a trapezoidal cross section, and is sub rectangular in shape. Minimal retouch is present along one of the long edges (short, subparallel, low angle). Faint remains of a bulb of percussion remain on the ventral surface. The flake has been made from a light grey flint, with a high degree of surface patination. It has been made from a piece of secondary debitage. There is deliberate thinning to the dorsal (upper) side. The dorsal side is covered with parallel sided retouch (covering, parallel, low angle). A complete knapped / worked flint scraper, of Late Neolithic dating (2900 BC to 2000 BC). The scraper is broadly semi circular in plan and rectangular in cross section being formed from a tertiary flake; possibly debitage. A knapped / worked fragment from a possible polished Axehead, of probable Late Neolithic dating (3000 to 2100 BC). The possible axe fragment is sub rectangular in plan, with a sub oval cross section. Approximately 50% of the possible axehead fragment are present, consisting of the blade end. Signs of abrasion / plough roll are present on the majority of the surfaces. The possible axehead fragment measures 53.37mm in length, 43.96mm wide and 18.5mm thick. It weighs 52.8 grams.

Knapped flint barbed and tange arrowhead. Probably Late Neolithic to the Middle Bronze Age. Mass: 1.5g. Length: 26mm; extant width: 17mm. Thickness: 4mm. Grey patinated flint. Made on a re-used flake, as the surface is not patinated around the edges where it has been retouched. The tanged arrowhead appears to have lost some material from its tip, and also at the ends of the wings - and so the original form is unclear.

The off-white/grey flint arrowhead is sub-triangular in plan, with two notches in the basal area either side of a central tang, forming a barb to one side, but the second barb is missing. A largely complete Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age axe hammer, fabricated from an unidentified igneous rock. In plan, the axe hammer is broadly drop shaped, with a circular perforation towards the butt.
