A probable Mesolithic microdenticulate on a flake. The flake is sub triangular in shape and has a series of tiny notches removed from one lateral edge, forming a saw-like edge. Much of the dorsal face of the flake is cortical. The tool would probably have been used in a sawing motion to cut through tough animal or vegetable products. It is lozenge form in section. It measures 28.32 mm long, 19.01 mm wide, 5.42 mm thick and weighs 2.1 grams.

A probable Mesolithic tool, probably a scraper made from a flake. The butt of the flake is largely cortical, with the bulb of percussion just below this cortex on the ventral face. A Mesolithic flint blade. It has been retouched with a notch towards the butt end of the left lateral edge (when held with the dorsal side facing) and also at the distal end. Both areas of retouch were perhaps designed to perform scraping functions. The blade measures 38.77 mm long, 12.51 mm wide, 3.92 mm thick and weighs 1.8 grams. The ventral face is slightly concaved and the blade is trapezoidal in section. the flint has a pale grey to brown patina, revealing a dark grey where it has been retouched.

A Mesolithic flint bladelet. It appears to have been broken in prehistory, as there is a break with a patina which matches that visible on the exterior of the rest of the flint. It is possible that this break was deliberate as part of the manufacture of a microlith using the microburin technique, though this is far from certain. The remains of the bladelet measure 26.01 mm long, 10.97 mm wide, 5.43 mm thick and weighs 1.3 grams. It is triangular in section and grey in colour with cream patches.

A tiny flint artefact, probably a microlith. The tool may have been formed from a snapped bladelet using the microburin technique. It is likely that this flint would have been one part of a composite tool or weapon which utilised many other small flints, quite possibly an arrow. The flint is grey to white in colour. It measures 13.59 mm long, 2.88 mm wide, 1.3 mm thick and weighs 0.1 grams. It is triangular in section.

A probable Mesolithic flint blade, with retouch in the form of notches on the left lateral edge (when held with the dorsal side facing). These notches may have been used for stripping bark during the creation of arrow shafts, although they could equally have had many other functions. Some cortex remains on the edges of the flint. The flint has a pale cream patina with grey/brown inclusions. It measures 41.35 mm long, 18.44 mm wide, 4.46 mm thick and weighs 3.9 grams. It is trapezoidal in section.

A probable flint scraper or knife, most likely to be Mesolithic in date. Cortex has been left on part of the flake, probably to facilitate comfortable handling. A flint scraper or knife, probably Mesolithic in date. Cortex has been left on part of the flake, probably to facilitate comfortable handling of the tool. The flint is 'boomerang' shaped, and there is some retouch along the inwardly curving edge. The tool was probably intended to be held with the thumb held over the concaved ventral face allowing the tool to be used comfortably as a scraper or knife. A flint flake, apparently retouched to form a scraper. Cortex remains on one face. There appears to be a small amount of pressure flaking at the distal end to form a scraping edge. The flint measures 46.23 mm long, 24.14 mm wide, 17.17 mm thick and weighs 13.9 grams. The flint is a cream to grey/brown colour with a small area of pink cortex remaining. Other Mesolithic material from the area suggests this flint may also of this date.

An irregular fragment of a flint core, used for the production of blades of Mesolithic date (6500 - 3500 BC). It is sub square in plan and D shaped in cross section. One striking platform appears to be present but the core fragment has suffered badly from movement in the soil and plough roll, as there are a significant number of uncontrolled flaking scars present. It is dark grey in colour and a small amount of cortex (outer rind) is present on the distal end of the fragment. It measures 25.32mm length, 29.51mm width, 13.79mm thick and weighs 11.1 grams.
