A probable Mesolithic flint microlith. The tool has not been formed using the microburin technique, but rather appears to have been struck directly from a core, as a striking platform and bulb of percussion are visible. The flint is probably part of what was once a composite tool or weapon, possibly an arrow, which would have utilised many such flints mounted into a shaft. It measures 10.63 mm long, 3.92 mm wide, 1.58 mm thick and weighs less than 0.1 grams. It is sub-triangular in section. The flint is a pale cream in colour.

A tiny flint artefact, probably a microlith. The tool may have been formed from a snapped bladelet using the microburin technique. It is likely that this flint would have been one part of a composite tool or weapon which utilised many other small flints, quite possibly an arrow. The flint is grey to white in colour. It measures 13.59 mm long, 2.88 mm wide, 1.3 mm thick and weighs 0.1 grams. It is triangular in section.

A collection of eight knapped isosceles and scalene triangular-shaped microliths, dating to the Mesolithic period between c. 8000 BC - c. 4000 BC (length ranging from 12-20mm; average thickness: 2.5mm; collective weight: 2.15g).There are multiple arrises on the microlith, with normally 2-3 arrises on each piece. There is also some re-touch along the edges on a few artefacts. In his 2004 publication 'Guide to the Identification, Assessment and Recording of Lithics October 2004, Version 1',page 209, C J Bond describes microliths as a 'small blunt or bladelet, often with bulb removed and …

A collection of two knapped microliths or convex re-touched pieces, dating to the Mesolithic period between c. 8000 BC - c. 4000 BC (length ranging from 14-17mm; average thickness: 1.5mm; collective weight: 0.40g).There are one or two arrises on each of these small pieces, with some re-touching along the edges. In his 2004 publication 'Guide to the Identification, Assessment and Recording of Lithics October 2004, Version 1',page 209, C J Bond describes microliths as a 'small blunt or bladelet, often with bulb removed and retouched by blunting, abrupt retouch along one or more edges.
