An incomplete retouched tertiary flint blade of later Mesolithic date, circa 4500-3000 BC. The flint blade is broadly rectangular in plan and wedge shaped in profile. The dorsal face has evidence of retouch on the long edges and at the distal end. The retouch is short, scaled and low angled. The right hand side of the dorsal face has had significant reworking that forms a distinct notch. On the dorsal face two parallel flakes have been removed along the length. An incomplete flint blade of probable Mesolithic date (6500BC - 3500BC). The flint blade is broadly rectangular in plan and trapezoidal in profile. The bulb of percussion and proximal end have both been removed through snapping. The dorsal face has evidence of retouch on the long edges and at the distal end. An incomplete teritary debitage flake, of probable Mesolithic to Early Neolithic dating (6500 BC to 3500 BC). The flake is sub rectangular in shape, and triangular in cross section. A ridge runs the length of the dorsal (upper) surface. The remains of conchoidal ripples are present on the ventral (lower) surface. Controlled retouch is present along the lower edge and can be classified as short, parallel, semi-abrupt. It measures 30.2 mm in length, 11.8 mm wide and 3.0 mm thick. It weighs 1.1 g. The flint is an mid brown translucent colour, with no surface patination present.
