The item is a circular sectioned bar. The terminals of the bar flat and have the widest diameter of the bar. After the terminal the bar narrows immediately, and then expands slightly towards the centre forming a sub-oval shape in plan. As decoration the centre of the bar has a groove around its circumference. There are two sub-triangular protrusions along one edge of he bar. The tips of these protrusions are broken and worn, it is thought they originally formed a loop. The surface of the item is pitted and over corroded. Small areas of patina remain, coloured mid-green.
