An incomplete lock escutcheon from a piece of furniture, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800). The lock escutcheon is irregular in shape, but with a flat cross section. Iron corrosion products do obscure the surface. The lock escutcheon has a pelta shape above with a sunburst stamp on a it. The lock escutcheon is irregular in shape, with a semi-circular top with a squared lys terminal at the base. It measures 46.4 mm in length, 49. 8 mm wide and 10.3 mm thick. It weighs 31.9 g.

Each side of the fragment has a worn and broken edge. The fragment has a convex outer face which is plain and undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy cruciform stud or mount, likely a furniture fitting or decoration, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The mount is domed. It has four lobes, making it a cruciform or quatrefoil shape. Each lobe has an incised line down the centre, and a central cross marking out the separate lobes. The reverse is concave, with an incomplete rectangular cross sectioned attachment spike present at the centre. It measures 24.6 mm in length, 23.5 mm wide and 13.4 mm thick. It weighs 20.6 g. The mount is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina.
