An extremely worn, incomplete, copper alloy finger ring of probable Roman date (c. AD 43-410). Most of the hoop is missing, and the object only consists of the bezel and a small section of the hoop. The bezel is lozenge shaped in plan and is decorated with the worn remains of a moulded ring and dot pattern inside of a central round recess with a raised, circumferential border on the outside. There are objects that have been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database that are potentially comparable, such as SF-344BD5.
