An incomplete knapped lithic object of likely middle Neolithic to early Bronze Age date (c. 2700-1600 BC). The object is an arrowhead, possibly linked to the transverse or chisel types. It is formed from a tertiary flake that is sub-triangular in plan. It is bifacially worked with invasive stepped semi-abrupt and low angle retouch present across the dorsal and ventral surfaces. The object is roughly trapezoidal in plan and was made from a secondary flake, given that up to 10% of the surface is covered by an area of cream coloured cortex. The flint is cream coloured. There is a distinct bulb of percussion and bulbar scar on the ventral surface with cortex remaining on the proximal lateral edge. Semi-abrupt retouch is present around half the circumference of the scraper at the convex, distal edge. Overall dimensions: 35mm in diameter and 15mm in thickness.

The thicker, lateral edge on the dorsal face has the remains of the cortex and has been invasively retouched to blunt it to facilitate handling the tool. A piece of flint debitage; a blade with no further apparent retouch probably dating from the Mesolithic period, about 9000-4000 BC. The blade is struck on blue-grey flint and is a tertiary blade. There does not seem to be much patination. It has multiple facets on the dorsal face. It is roughly rectilinear at one end and roughly rounded at the other in plain. There is some edge damage, but no organised working.

A strip of light pink cortex has been retained on the dorsal face running from the top left corner down to the proximal end. The ventral face shows a clear bulb of percussion but no retouch.
