Workflow stage: Published Find published
The strap fitting is a trefoil shape in plan with a short stem protruding from between two of the 'leaves'. The upper surface has moulded decoration, perhaps a rose design on each 'leaf' but this is not certain due to the wear and some corrosion. The reverse has two circular sectioned studs protruding, however only one is complete. This stud has been folded over toward the centre of the mount. The mount has slightly hollowed areas in the centre of each 'leaf'. The surface ofthe mount is slightly corroded.
