An illegible and incomplete silver Medieval coin; probably a Late Medieval penny dating from AD 1377 - 1489. The reverse is double struck. Part of the edge is missing and it is very worn. Mint and moneyer unknown, but probably York or Durham mint.
Measurements are; length 15.3m,m width 13.1mm, thickness (its bent form) 1.1mm and weight 0.53g. The thickness of the metal itself is 0.2g.

Obverse: EDWR'/ANGL'D/NShYB, Crowned bust facing with a trifoliate crown and wedged drapery within a triangle (pellet below bust). Reverse: CIVI/TAS/DVBL/INIE, Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant. 1.3g weight, 18.5mm diameter, 0.7mm thickness.
