A very worn and clipped Post Medieval silver coin of unknown monarch. The coin has been clipped down to the inner circle and therefore the legend has been removed with it. The obverse is largely blank but the reverse shows a quartered shield with the rampant lion of Scotland in the upper right quadrant. This was adopted by James I and would date the coin to the reign of James I (1603-1625 AD) or Charles I (1625-1649).

An extremely worn and corroded copper-alloy coin, probably Roman in date. The coin is unusually thin but there is faint trace of a male or female bust facing right on the obverse and a single figure standing on the reverse. Due to the high degree of wear and the thinness of thepiece, there remains a remote possibility that this could be a token or jetton of post-Medieval date. Accordingly, it has been assigned a very wide date range.

An incomplete and extremely abraded Post Medieval Tudor period silver coin. No detail can be seen on the obverse but the image of the Royal shield and the part legend PO[...]/DEV[...] can just be made out on the reverse. This legend is probably a variant of POSUI DEUM ADIUTOREM MEUM which translates as "I have made God my helper". Copper alloy counterstamped coin. The coin is highly corroded and no part of the original design is visible. It is counterstamped VIII with a small H or M above and the second and third II appear to be interupted by a circular counterstamp. It is probably a 8 maravedis of Felipe III (1598-1621) of Spain, but countermarked later under Felipe IV's reign (1621-1665) as an 8 maravedis 'resellado' which means 'resealed' or 'restruck'. Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token (1500-1850 AD). On one side are the raised initials, I P written retrograde seperated by a pellet, and the other side is blank. An old break has removed about 10% from one side. The token measures 20.9mm in diameter, 2.8mm thick and weighs 7.45 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval in date (1500-1850 AD).

A cast lead-alloy uniface token. The decorated side of the token bears a relief-moulded design resembling a spoked wheel. It is 18.1mm in diameter, 3.9mm thick and weighs 8.06 grams.
