A gilded and decorated circular copper alloy object of early Medieval date, 38.1mm in diameter and 1.3mm thick. There is a single central hole of 4.5mm diameter, possibly for a decorative rivet, a fixing for a pin shaft or brooch, or a loop from a linked pin set. The gilded surface, which is damaged and flaking in places, is embossed with intricate interlaced decoration comprising five roundel / rounded U shapes and a single bell-shaped area of interlace. A Roman copper alloy Colchester type brooch, 60.4mm in length, complete with spring and part of pin. The bow is narrow at 4.8mm wide, with hexagonal cross section, and decorated with short diagonal lines in a form of cable-style decoration between moulded linear borders. The head is sharply angled from the bow and has a retaining hold for the spring chord.

A copper alloy decorative integral plate from a medieval or early medieval cast copper alloy single loop buckle, missing its frame and pin. The plate is narrowed from the frame, with beveled edges, a collar consisting of two transverse ridges near the frame and a moulded, possibly zoomorphic collar at a rear rivet loop. A portion of a hole for the pin or a second rivet remains at the break with the frame, which has the remnants of moulded borders and small lateral projections around it. The reverse is flat and undecorated. Circa 12th century.

A heavily corroded copper alloy fragment of an axehead measuring 51.6mm by 30.9mm. The fragment is pelta-shaped and comprises the blade tip; the area behind the blade is fluted with three pronounced ribs perpendicular to the blade edge. The cross section is flat, suggesting an earlier non-socketed type. The remaining surface has a dark green patina. Possibly Early Bronze age, although the original form of the axe and the dating is uncertain.

A large polished stone Neolithic macehead or shafthole adze, 157mm in length and weighing 1.1kg. The object is oval to sub-rectangular in plan, with lenticular or lozenge shaped side profile and oval cross section. The shaft hole is circular in plan with an 'hour-glass' profile, measuring 20 mm in diameter in the centre and expanding to 35.4 mm at each face, suggesting that it may have been drilled from both sides.
