A complete silver seal matrix dating from the post-medieval period, c. AD 1600-1700. The seal matrix is a faceted pedestal type with a suspension loop. At the top of the pedestal is a trefoil openwork handle, with drop-shaped loops. The central loop is largest and sits above two equal loops to the left and right. Both faces of the vervel are inscribed in seriffed capitals: *IOHN* // *STRANGWAYES. A very small silver annular brooch dating to Medieval period. It is complete with separate pin in situ. The frame has rounded edges and a circular cross-section. It has a small constriction to hold the pin. The pin is circular in section and is looped loosely around the bar. It tapers to a rounded point and it is now slightly distorted.
